Training Programmes ::

Over the years, TIGAAD has been assisting the Civil Societies by providing a strategic consultancy services to restore peace, democracy for the war- fragmented communities in Somalia. To improve the capacity of democratic values, it is essential to upgrade the skill level the civics and government staffs' capacity in order to establish democratic based communities in our society.

The goal of the organization is to transfer empowering skills for civil society's organizations (CSO) such as women groups, media, business association's city democratic advocators, human rights organizations, district leaders, local politicians, and chambers of commerce so that they could be able to create a network and frameworks in order to mobilize to our communities at grass root levels.

TIGAAD has assisted to reregulate frameworks of the CSO so that they have capacity to create connections to the communities at large. Our elected board of directors, comprising of 15 directors of which six directors serve a officer; the president, the voice presidents, a secretary, and a treasurer. The board meets regularly to look after the programs that suit our community and put the strategic plan and activities.

Also, it has been emphasized to reel the economy of the nation after years of civil war, it requires enlightening the barriers and choosing democratic institution, so committees of chamber of commerce in Mogadishu and business associations can form to coordinate regular activities. These committees are Membership services special projects, Public and government relations. Programs delivered are: basic journalism, teamwork's, informative training, and professional development and committee on elections.

We take pride in partnering with varies communities that we serve. By cooperating with government with government employers, business associations and the community leaders, it is certain we can overcome and reinstitute the war torn country into well-balanced nation. The training will put forward to set clear guidance, which the idea of free market economy to, prevails in our society.

Training:

• Supported (SCO) and encouraged by adopting a right strategies to improve a clear democratic policy to the nation.

• Improving the Civil Society (SCO) network systems, eliminating their gaps, removing the bottlenecks of the blocked communication channels

• Putting on emphasis on corporate governance, corporate citizenship, and the role of business in infighting corruption has provided new opportunities.

• To provide workshops addressed; to encourage medium-sized enterprise sector, consumer associations, and the role of intuitions in a market economy and private sector development.

• To help chamber of commerce to regulate an acting bill to the members of parliament and the regional leadership and members of Somalia main political parties.

• To train and assist secretary of Commerce, chambers of commerce and business associate to establish economic platforms and informed them of the challenges facing the private sector.
